Hello readers!

There was a time I used to read at least four books a month. It was the only thing that made sense at that time. These are just some of the digital marketing  books you must read or have a look at.

Before it did matter that much I would read fictional, romance, entertainment and more. All this was the only way I could add value to myself. I mean, I was too busy working and no time for anything else.

These are the digital marketing books I have been recommended to read. I have not read all of them, but they were highly recommended.

CONTENT MACHINE 

It profiles a strategy on using content marketing to build a 7-figure business with zero advertising. By teaching the fundamentals of content marketing, how to create great content and how to stand out from the crowd.

It simplifies the otherwise challenging process of creating content with impact. It’s highly recommended if you want to be unique. check it out on Goodreads.

 

DIGITAL MARKETING FOR DUMMIES

From the name itself you can tell it was written in an easy form, for anyone to understand. They do have lots of books for any beginners niche that you want to understand.

Although I have not used this yet, I have just had a chance to look through. It has been simplified.

ONLINE MARKETING

This was my first book to read in digital marketing. It was even before I took the course. The Mc GRAW-HILL 36-Hour Course teaches you the essentials of online marketing.

It also has questions at the end of each topic which helps with the study part. It start with the planning until the execution  point.

It does cover the essential part of online marketing. I was in Dubai mall and checked book  store  Kinokuniya. 

It has an online version course if you choose not to read the book. Nowadays you can read them online.

 

EPIC CONTENT  MARKETING 

Joe Pulizzi has tried to tell us how to tell your story. Marketing has always been about telling stories and it all depends on how you put it out there.

The book is showing you how to tell your story differently. He uses this exactly.

HOW TO TELL A DIFFERENT STORY, BREAK THROUGH THE CLUTTER, AND WIN MORE CUSTOMERS BY MARKETING LESS.  

I would  say that is really convincing.

MARKETING 4.0 

Written by Iwan Setiawan, Kartajaya Hermanwan, and Philip Kotler.  Where I come from we have a saying; too many cooks spoil the broth.

They should have specified and said this metaphor applies mostly in the kitchen. Moving from Traditional to Digital is a book that i would recommend to anyone looking for a digital marketing book.

THIS IS MARKETING 

Seth Godin, an American author and former dot com business executive.  Best-selling author, and speaker.

In addition to launching one of the most popular blogs in the world, he has written 19 best-selling books, including The Dip, Linchpin, Purple Cow, Tribes, and What To Do When It’s Your Turn (And It’s Always Your Turn).

His profile alone will make you want to read the book.

Seth Godin has taught and inspired millions of entrepreneurs, marketers, leaders, and fans from all walks of life, via his blog, online courses, lectures, and bestselling books.

He is the inventor of countless of mainstream business languages. You would want to get yourself this book.

The 1-PAGE MARKETING PLAN 

A good reading and has a great title; who does not love procedure. It kinda tells you how much you will get and the number is 1 on this book.

Anytime you want to do anything it is always advisable to do research. One thing about this book is you might not want to hear that you have to spend money.

Money is a sensitive matter, especially when you are trying to invest. There is a warning that you will not miss when you want to do some little research on the book.

WARNING: Do Not Read This Book If You Hate MoneyTo build a successful business.  With lots of information out there, it is true to say that most of us now are reluctant to just spend in the name of investing.

Still the book is highly recommended it basically shows you where to put your money.

Kindle if you don’t have the app yet, you should download it. Reading has been made easy. Some authors have even gone to the extend of writing some pages of the book to get you motivated.

I love the smell of a new book, so I still go to the shop and look around; even if I will not buy.
